I emailed them for more info about their software (system requirements, cost, sensors they recommend ) but if there is anything you'd like to share about it, I'd certainly like to know! Thanks in advance.Įdit: This was supposed to be a reply to doc ks. Looks interesting but not much info on the software and purchasing goes. I was just looking at the AgPixel website. It's just that for uploading quite a few fields worth of pictures, we start bumping up against our data limits. Thats the big difference as we see it.ģ0 to 50 images per P3P batery. and over 320 acrs per flight with the pixhawk wing. We are getting 30 acres per battery on the DJI P3p. The Pix4d forums on FaceBook are interesting, for how-to and user comments. We have a 90 day deal with Pix4D mapper that we haven't used yet, still waiting on the Sequoia. We dont upload images from very many flights, prety much all done in-house.Īre you saying that you have limited or no web upload to DD of your images ? have seen no difference in quality overall and speed of the process.Īgisoft is our goto app for inhouse stiching, w/ Agpiel to render NDVI. Pull the sd card and upload the images to DD. 45 minutes after upload is done and you have what you need. Use DD app to do the whole DJI flight then upload images to DD. We have used DD for both platforms.good to great results on both the DJI and our Pixhawk based wing. Is Pix4D processing all done locally? How long does it take? Does it do a good job with NDVI? ![]() Just looking at it, it appears DJI and DroneDeploy is the easy button and Pixhawk controlled devices and Pix4D is the DIY version. What are the pros and cons of using a DJI product with DroneDeploy vs a Pixhawk controlled device of some sort and then processing the data with Pix4D or something similar?
